The dual-head FSV nested vial/syringe/cartridge filling and stoppering machine has been developed specifically with aseptic pharmaceutical and biotech liquid filling applications in mind. It is designed for our proven FSP peristaltic pumps and FSR rotary piston pumps with repeatedly high filling accuracy. The FSV machine is equipped for bottom-up filling and mechanical, vacuum, or combination processing for the range of containers supplied in ready-to-use (RTU) nests. The container nest is processed fully automatically after an operator has placed the nest onto the nest carrier. The controls, including the PLC control system and servo drives as well as the vacuum pump(s), are located inside the machine base. Operation and recipe development is intuitive via the integrated touch screen.
